Sung Park, MD (aka Dr. Sean) is a board-certified pediatrician with 15 years of experience dedicated to caring for children through all stages of health and wellness. He currently practices at Lighthouse Pediatrics in Issaquah, Washington, where he combines evidence-based medicine with a compassionate understanding of the challenges and joys of parenting.

His family moved to Issaquah shortly before the launch of Lighthouse Pediatrics and has embraced the community with open arms. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Sean enjoys coaching Little League and exploring the area's beautiful hiking trails—always happy to connect with families along the way.

Dr. Sean's education journey includes earning a bachelor's degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a medical degree from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his pediatric residency at Primary Children's Medical Center through the University of Utah. While his formal training built a strong foundation, Dr. Sean credits his family and patients as his greatest teachers, shaping his holistic and empathetic approach to pediatric care.

At Lighthouse Pediatrics, Dr. Sean is committed to fostering healthy, happy families by addressing not only physical health but also the emotional and social development of children.

My Approach
As your pediatrician, my role goes beyond providing medical care for your child—it’s about connecting with your family to help you strengthen the bonds that matter most. The better I connect with you, the better I can guide and support your child’s health.

At the heart of it all is your connection with your child. That relationship forms the foundation for everything else: your child’s sense of self, their emotional and social well-being, and even their physical health. But I know that parenting is hard work, and to nurture your child effectively, you need care and support for yourself, too. Parenting feels more manageable—and even joyful—when you’re able to show up as your best self.

The best parents aren’t perfect. They’re the ones who approach challenges and mistakes with compassion and a commitment to grow. I’m here to help you become the parent you want to be—the parent your child deserves. Together, we can create a path for your family to thrive.
